Ian Dapkewicz

Ian Dapkewicz is a film-maker from California with a passion for the Great Books. After completing his undergraduate degree from St. John's College in the History of Math and Philosophy, he would teach the classics at the School for Advanced Studies in Arkansas. Now he is returning to Santa Fe to teach for the ICD, and create a film based on the famous classical play, Iphigenia At Aulis by Euripides. When Ian isn't reading, a rare occasion, he's writing or taking long walks on the Plaza in Santa Fe.

James Hartree

Growing up in rural England, James Hartree would leave his native home to finish high-school in Dilijan, Armenia. He lived and studied with people from 80 different countries, princes and refugees alike, all under the same roof.  He would go on to study the History of Math and Philosophy at St. John's College, in New Mexico. He is in love with teaching, and wants to bring his alternative educational experience to the classroom for the benefit of young people.
