Join the Great Conversation, in Santa Fe
The Great Books shaped our world.
They designed our institutions, created the sciences, and have sparked a 3000 year old conversation about virtue, justice, and the good life.

Here in Santa Fe, seminar leader and St. John's College graduate James Hartree is guiding teenagers through the great texts of philosophy, literature, and theatre.
​
Dive into Plato's dialogues, bring Shakespeare alive, and journey through a world of Knights and betrayals in Chaucer's Tales.

​The group meets weekly, and is for students 12-18.
Each week, we prepare by reading a great text (30-60 minutes of preparation needed), and convene in a local coffee shop to have an open discussion.
James believes in the power of collaborative education.
He offers private tutoring for College preparedness, and strongly encourages his students to join the Great Conversation through this reading group.
